How it started

It all started out at a garage sale when a woman was trying to buy a vacuum. I watched her as she only had $17 to spend and the sales lady insisted on $20. I found out the woman was trying to start a house cleaning business. She was single with two children living at home and her car was in obvious need of repair.

I paid for some cleaning supplies and hired her to clean my home. I told my neighbors to do the same and we posted on FB Marketplace how good of a job she did. I had her car fixed. Now this woman has a thriving cleaning business.

I am grateful I had the means that day to help. It doesn’t always work that way. Sometimes I cannot give. Sometimes I need help, but I trust my friends will be there.

We are building a network of friends willing to show up for each other throughout the state.

When all is said and done…

We hope to have built a long-standing culture of meaningful connection that includes compassionately giving and receiving help that prevents anyone in Colorado from falling into housing, nutritional, mental or spiritual insecurity.

Offer FINANCIAL HELP on a case-by-case basis. This is the last step and is only used when our database proves insufficient for this particular need.
